Let me know what happens - that surely shouldn't be happening! I'm always taking out my rubber mats to hose them down - hopefully this isn't a common problem.

Just found this post. Search facility didn’t find it. I’ve got the same problem and it happened again after a replacement.
From my other post: Has anyone else had the retaining studs for the foot mats come out of the floor? My drivers side mat pulled the stud apart the first time I tried to remove the mat leaving a hole in the floor with no way to reattach the stud. The dealer duly ordered a new clip and 2.5 hours of labour later it was fitted. Guess what? First time I remove the mat again the stud comes apart. This time I can just see the other bit of the stud under the floor and it looks a pretty poor design. Either it is supposed to be compressed by a ring which has broken again or else the hole in the floor is supposed to do the compression and the hole I have looks like it has been reamed out a bit so is pretty large. I haven’t heard of any one else with this issue but if there is what was the solution? If my suspicions are correct I’ll need a new floor panel. Defender D350 X-Dynamic HSE 110 MY25 Carpathian Grey |
