…and obviously, I’d love to do this myself. I’ve done quite a few new-chassis up rebuilds already but with two SIIA projects on the go, I just don’t have the space (or the energy!)

Alpine Restorations in Halifax have a good reputation so would be worth a visit and a chat. Almost north west!!

Try LSL 4x4 on the Fylde Coast between Preston and Blackpool. They have done numerous chassis swaps. They are excellent at fabrication and welding if you need it. I’m a very satisfied customer.

+1 for Carriages Auto Services. Got my 110 from them, very accommodating and didn't seem put out by anything I requested. Always lots of vehicles in whenever I've gone over there which is a good sign and I enjoy having a mooch about to see what they're building. They sent pictures during the build process to keep me updated and it was never an issue if I wanted to drop in.

Thanks guys. I didn’t know carriages existed until I saw your messages. I went over this afternoon and was very impressed. They’re working up a quote for me now.
No idea of what sort of price to expect. Any hints via PM would be very welcome. |

I think it is probably that time for my Landy too. I've just started talking to Taylors 4x4 in Tattenhall Chester. They have done engine work for me in the past. Anyone had experience of their restoration or chassis work?
