Heated windscreen switch replacement help!
I’m getting ready to wire in my new heated windscreen into my 300TDi, after needing to replace the windscreen recently. I have the DA1400 fitting kit and, as I was looking at how to mount the switch, I managed to unfasten the side clip, at which point the switch fell apart, a fairly key connection component dropped out with no real indication of how it had been installed originally, and one of the small spring pieces launched itself to freedom, never to be seen again. Banging Head

Is the switch a generic one I can replace or is it specific to the wiring kit?

That’s the one, although my switch is now on slightly more parts!

Ah, ok. So Carling switches are a readily available range of modular switches in a variety of flavours, on-off, on-on, mom, etc. so it should be possible buy a replacement if you know the type you need. I believe that MudUK sell them, although I'm sure that a quick search will reveal other places too. Darren
