I had Autoglass repair two chips in my heated screen at the end of July. The screen still works fine but the chips are still quite visible - they haven't disappeared in the way that it shows in their TV adverts. Darren

I can live with that - it is on the passenger side outside the sweep of the wiper. John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

few of us took a trip around Wiltshire including the Ridgeway before it closes for the winter. Good day was had by all, some parts were a little overgrown, and some of the puddles were a bit smelly!

Drove to Athlone to meet a prospective buyer for my take - off wheels and tyres. Came back with an empty boot and € 400 in my back pocket. Which was nice.

I spent a lot of the weekend getting dirty, following Zag's advice for preventative rustproofing! Several empty Dinitrol cans taken to the recycling at the tip.
Installed the tow bracket, and used the trailer on the Defender for the 1st time, she does pull well! That ACF-50 seems good stuff, use over half a can covering anything that looks like it may rust! Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

Been sat for some of the afternoon trying to figure out how to paint (& what colour!) the IW top on my DC......maybe I should start a poll!
Other than that, wife & I were out on the bike for a couple of hours, enjoying the sunshine! Mark 2011 110 XS DC Stornoway Grey |
