Spent three days in the Yorkshire Dales. Some fantastic roads and scenery to die for.

Best sight was the farmer in his 61 plate 90 that I pointed out to SWHMBO'd whilst we were walking back to our hotel - the smile on his face was priceless Thumbs Up

Where abouts did you stay Bob?. I love the Dales and holiday there a lot. Did you manage to get any green lanes in?. The scenery as you say is fantastic.

Took mine to Rustmaster for a thorough Waxoyling. Very impressed with their work and pleased to get it sorted before the roads get covered in salt.

Hi Richard

We stayed at the Punch Bowl Inn at Low Row, just outside of Reeth. Excellent pub and great food.

We didn't do any lanes this time, too busy looking at the scenery Thumbs Up

There are some cracking lanes in that part of the world. Not all of them are shiney paint friendly however.

Maybe we should arrange a forum green lane meet in N Yorkshire or maybe a Coast to Coast.

Probably too late in the year for this year to arrange. Maybe 2012?

I'm halfway through Zagging "Jonny1966" 09 Utility. The condition of it was a blimmen disgrace John Whistle Laughing bet it hasn't been polished since you bought it from the dealership after their paint stripping cleaners they use Shocked

Anyway not only is it now soaked in Dinitrol & ACF-50.....underneath, door pillars, doors, body capping's, bulkhead, engine bay, hinges, mirror arms, radiator brackets etc, interior nuts etc I have also washed and polished it Shocked You can even see out of the windows Shocked Nice and shiny now with Autoglym Fast Glass. Joking of course it was presented in a clean dry condition as requested but now is polished and shiny - your going to have a nice surprise when you pick it up Thumbs Up Just got to seal the capping's etc this afternoon.....

Got a chip in 08 in windscreen and got it repaired. Within a week got another chip in windscreen and that one has not been repaired.

Has not developed into a crack, passes MOT ok.
