Thanks both, I’ll definitely look into that - I used to have a set on my old SIII station wagon back in the day.

Bluericky who makes those sliders? They look great and do visually lift the vehicle. Just not sure if I can convince the other half that they count as a ‘step’. Laughing

The local land rover parts shop had them sitting on the floor gathering dust, I believe they're terrafirma. Having the tube helps and acts as a sort of step, although I found it a bit slippery when muddy so put some 2 inch anti slip tape along it. https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/

Took a little local run out to Burton Dassett Hills today (futile attempt to tire out a 4 year old!), so snapped a couple of pics on the phone while I was there.

Cheers for the positive comments!

mcma1 - thanks very much for the offer. I’ve decided to go down the rock slider route instead. I can’t trust the other half (or my lad) to fold steps up after use, so I reckon they’d soon get ripped off when laning... Laughing

Hello! Not much to report with the Keswick beastie, although a teeny baby version with awesome articulation has now joined the collection!
