Looks great @SN! Going to ring and add them today. Not a lot of space in that driveway now

Doesn't live there often - and fingers crossed, if the planets align this week we will have moved and it will have a driveway and a half all to itself with all other occupier vehicles fighting over a separate double driveway! Well went for my extended road test today but was unable to take advantage of it as the previous test drive person came back late and with a broken windscreen! There seemed to be an initial chip and then a spiders web had quickly formed around the chip, spreading out across the whole of the screen. It was just going to be a 2 hour test drive today but because of the problem they are lending it to me for 3 days next week, so a bit of a bonus Cheers Ian

Probably all of us! insurance no doubt will pay for it, but ultimately the money comes from the people that pay for insurance. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

I was thinking more in terms of the person taking the test drive or dealer; and in the latter, whether there is an excess that the driver needs to pay?

I never signed for any insurance during my extended test drive last August, no waivers. I was just handed the keys, sure they have all my details as I use the dealership for maintenance.
Insurance was never spoke about, they did see my drivers licence. I wonder what would have happened if there had of been an incident. I know on a loan car my dealer charge £750 excess or pay £15 to reduce it to £50. I’m sure their demos are the same.
They must have high hopes of getting a new windscreen in a week, unless you’re getting a different one? 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

15% ordered with a Roof ladder - what a useless piece of information, surely they should report how many are ordered with the various packs rather than a single part of a pack. I saw the issue of Auto-Express with that info in it and read it while killing time waiting for my barber appointment. It was in the same item about the possibility of the pick-up versions and showed a crew cab pick-up based 110 photochop image. Interesting that only a quarter are black, around here I very rarely see any other colour. WARNING. This post may contain sarcasm. |
