The diff on it's own is £1020 and the tyres are £255 (=£1275 total), but the off road pack is £1170 and includes the above plus a 240v socket, so actually looks to be cheaper! |

Off road pack used to include roof rails and was more - still a good bargain if you wanted roof rails.
I have the E Diff It switches on and off during normal driving. Do you need it - probably not - but why not Do you need leather and electric windows and a 3L 300 BHP... nah .. but why not... You live once... There may be bad snow next year... who knows. |

What do you notice when it's on? I get you when you say why not, however the options soon add up, and I have to be realistic! |

The graphic on the dash changes ![]() Honestly - The rear diff and centre diff comes on lock or partial lock when accelerating or say going around a round about in the wet. The car feels no different.... |

the main difference i have noted with having the e-diff on our RRS is that it seems more
composed when tackling obstacles, less wheel spin/scabbling for purchase. This was commented on a number of trips we did with the AULRO club in NSW, whereas D3/4/RRS without, whilst still being able to tackle the obstacles seemed to need a bit more welly and the wheels spun a lot more, which is not always a good outcome on sharp rocky tracks.. The e-diff was a no brainer for me when we spec'd our Deffa, however not had a chance to test it in anger yet yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |

If you are planning to use it off road it’s definitely worth it. As above it makes for far smoother progress on loose surfaces or where the suspension is articulating.

Thanks again for all the replies.
I was wondering if the accessory packs on the configurator are dealer fit rather than factory fit? I want to spec the country pack to get wheel arches etc, but there isnt an option on the DTD website. I know that if I order mudflaps and wheel arches on their own then the dealer fits them when the car arrives with them, so i guess the same applies for the full pack? |

I was wondering what was everyone’s views on the signature DRLs. I saw a Defender today with normal lights and I was surprised that the ring bit is just plastic and doesn’t light up at all. I didn’t add them but now thinking I should have. It’s about £550 cos you need to add fog lights too.

I opted for them, they look nice and give a bit better light over the standard LED headlights.

I opted for them too - well worth it for both the look and also usefulness of the front fog lamps you get
![]() Click image to enlarge Note, I don't actually have any photos with the lights (and DRL's) actually on - need to sort that! Steve N | 21MY Defender ![]() ![]() ![]() |
