Thanks! Spent ages with my nephew trying to get them to look the same size, but failed.
Looks great Sulisuli!!! Afters its jump start issues gave the Puma a good tryout today on Pony Club duties, running great again! Sunday finally got the reverse camera finally wired in (using the 12v+ feed from the rear wiper motor to power the camera)
Monday, 1st round of the BRC at Oulton Park for the Neil Howard stages - I was out on recovery duties, first time since March 2020. Click image to enlarge 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Trying to picture how that A frame works... That's a pair of chains to the lifting eyes that then lifts the front wheels off the ground so you can tow it back?

Got it in one. Chain go around front suspension or rear axle hook back onto themselves, shorten the chains on the hooks which are on the lifting plate, and use the hand winch to raise the car enough to clear the floor and take back to service/crew location. I don't lift on public roads.
Or, i can attach a rope to the rear towing eye on the dolly and straight tow the car. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Very smart looking truck suli..just out of interest how often do you get it waxoiled? Just to share notes what areas do you concentrate on with the ACF....I try to spray the crossmember frequently especially under the truck where the fuel tank is as it wa the first place to show rust on mine .Have you tried ACF 50 grease? |

Looking very nice Simon, very satisfying with the finished clean you have there
My nextbase 312 GW is still going strong, well pleased with it I'm having Millie waxoyled later this year as it will be the first treatment on the new chassis 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Clayton. |

I find washing and polishing the defender really therapeutic Clayton, I enjoy the peace and quiet of it, no music no noise just happy in my own little world
I know we brought our dash cams about the same time initially, I’ve been very happy with the nextbase model so happy to give another model a go. Interesting you have chosen the waxoyl route too, may I ask why you chose waxoyl over other treatments? Nitram17 thanks for the comment on the defender. This is the first waxoyling I have had done, previously I have had it dinitrolled and the previous owner had it done before that, I will have it done every 18 months to 2 years as it’s a lot cheaper than Dinitrol. ACF 50 I use it anywhere I can apply it with a syringe or little paint brush. 2015 HT XS 90 2008 SVX 90 2000 XS TD5 90 |

Yes i am with you 100% on being therapeutic when doing all the stages of cleaning
Yes we did roughly get ours at the same time, so you will have to let me know how you get on with the new one, if it's as good as the 312 GW as i will know when mine decides to stop for good I have always had Millie waxoyled every 2 years ever since i bought her, my parents always had the 4x4 at the time waxoyled so i have never thought about changing to another product ( i'm very much old school ). This is the longest time with out any chassis protection she has had as i wanted to let the chassis " weather " naturally and this being the 6th year i think it's time to get it protected 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Installed the ORE spare wheel carrier. Took about two hours including watching a video and reading the instructions. It’s pretty straightforward! Nice kit too, no vehicle modifications, and looks quite nice in my opinion.

Made some memories with Grandson that Covid and life stopped me from seeing for almost 2 years.

Fitted the LOF one piece rear half shafts. the left side was a little loose, but the grease was clean. the right side looked like red mud and was more worn. it must have gotten wet at some point, although it was not like the normal emulsification between water and oil. but its all done up now and ready to go to Sardinia next week
