Best windscreen wipers ?
Mt front windscreen wipers are not really doing a great job so think its time to replace them, rather than goto the main-dealer I thought I would ask you guys if you have any recommendations (and link if thats possible)

Thanks in advance Smile

A mate of mine gets me Unipart wiper blades which cost about £3 each. They last a year and do what they are supposed to. A motor factors should stock them. Thumbs Up

Yup, Paddocks sell them for £2.99 a pop. They wipe the windscreen for about 6 months, then they break. At that rate a £30 pair of wiper blades would have to last 3 years? Doubt they do.

Less than £4 with a life time guarantee.

I wasn't convinced at first, but I've had them over a year now and they are still like new Thumbs Up

I also use the 'Tripledge' blades and found them to be very good value for money. Certainly a quantum leap over the OEM fitted ones.

I've had mine for 18 months and they are like new. Very happy with them.

Silblades for me! Didn't really believe the hype and although expensive they are good!

Driving through a heavy downpour on the motorway this week and all I needed was intermittent.

I am converted but it will be interesting to see how long they last for the money vs a cheaper blade.

Bought a pair of Silblades last spring and they worked very well during summer showers. Waiting for the winter… Sad . However they are really expensive!

The cheapest you can get and a bottle of rainex. The bottle will last you ages and you hardly need to use your wipers. Rainex is superb Thumbs Up

Update: Ordered a pair of Tripledge wipers at a cost of £12.42 from

http://www.tripledge.co.uk/

What arrived this morning was a pair of unbranded cheap normal wipers in a plastic bag - needless to say I am not happy and have written asking an expiation !
