Harsh . Besides I like to sit down when I pee sometimes, especially after a few Guinness. Re oil change the issue is the angle and force when it initially comes out, catching metalwork below which deflects the flow. However having some old cardboard on the floor and one of the large oil drain pans such as this https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/draper-mmop16bb-16-litre-fluid-drain-pan/ address the issue. Note cheaper from other places. Alternatively, if money is not an issue, get one of these. https://www.difflock.com/oilsandadditives/...-1-5-t11-5 plus the hose attachment, about £60 all in, so not for me but does ensure oil goes exactly where you want, ie in old oil cans See this post for more info https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic29173...drain+plug |

£48.99 for 2x5l inc vat and delivery , so a good price . https://www.thompsonsltd.co.uk/products/62...gJUIPD_BwE Buy 3 and you have sufficient for two oil changes with a litre left over. Last edited by Ianh on 1st May 2021 11:36am. Edited 1 time in total |

just an aside...im planning to retire soon so i will have less money and time on my hands so i intend to attempt the servicing myself ..ive had a look on u tube and there are lots of videos but can any more experienced old timers on here point me to good set of videos on servicing a puma 2.2.
Are there any special tools you need ?and any tricks or shortcuts would be well received..is it worth me buying a lof clutch and one piece drive shaft now while i have spare cash in the knowledge that they are likely to go sometime ? |

Absolutely sure, engine oil and diesel are hazardous waste with significant environmental impacts. If you are caught doing anything that releases them into the environment, and especially into ground water or drains, you can expect at the least a substantial fine. |

This guy tested loads of oil filters Different brands owned by the same company furnish different résults (e.g. Knecht - Mahle) Even OEM and aftermarket products of thé same brand are not 100% identical &ucbcb=1 |

Apologies for the delay, unless I have got it wrong it appears to be the same oil that comes up for my vehicle
when I input the vehicle specifics on your website. |
