Discovery and and defender sumps are the same, just need gasket for sump to block and gasket for turbo drain. Its a messy but ok job. Jack up front of car to let axle drop and give you more clearance to work.

All Td5 sumps are the same.
As to availability of gaskets, a quick Google search will show that they are readily available from a multitude of sources. |

Are you sure you need a new sump, rather than just a new sump plug?

Or tap out to next sump plug size up if there is enough room. Re tapping kits available on ebay and other outlets. Done this a couple of times with a range of cars.

I would try to drill and rethread and then fit a Femco drain plug, so you don’t keep working the thread.
