Me and a mate threw the body back on 05kd65 in 15 minutes this afternoon!
Still got to stick a couple of bolts in to keep it all together on the way to the body shop.... First time the 2 of them have been parked out in the fresh air together for a while... Click image to enlarge |

Full strip down and rebuild on the red one. Was going to do it myself but as its the last one I reckon its worth the extra to get it back to as new (probably better ).

The proper rebuild is now underway. The rear tub is in need of some surgery...

I had the pleasure of working with the red arrows at r a f Waddington some years ago at the air show .
they wanted a runner basically and no one would do it so i volunteered was only when I returned laden with some rare items of clothing they realised what id been up too . funny enough when the officer came the next day everyone wanted to go but he just told me to get my kit and had a second wonderful day . ok i was making tea getting there food and been a servant but i was air side and getting to meet some amazing pilots not just from the uk . happy days |

Waddington airshow was a great day out! Especially when the vulcan was still around doing it's stuff.
Last time I was there the red arrows did a final low pass with smoke on and the vulcan took off in the opposite direction through the trailing smoke, very cool |
