I like most of the LR colour options, but I thought the defender looked the best in Carpathian Grey. This is even in the S trim where there is limited options in terms of black packs etc. I don't why you can have full control on colour options at certain trim levels - but I think I needed to go for a minimum SE or above to select additional options. When I looked at what I needed (with add ons) it didn't make sense to go beyond an S in terms of value.

Click image to enlarge This is what my S Defender looks like (apparently) - having seen some 'real' Carpathian Grey Defenders on this forum I'm really excited about my choice. Click image to enlarge |

We thought the launch colours were a bit conservative but really pleased with Hakuba silver with black wheels and black pack

That looks really smart.
I've gone Carpathian Grey with black roof + bars and black 5098 wheels on my 90Hard Top. May add the bigger plastic wheel arch trims in black as they look rather nice. I felt the Eiger grey was a little too light for me and blacks a PITA to keep clean and I have a black sports car anyway which is always needing a wash. |

Someone on the FB group has wrapped theirs in Estoril Blue - it’s not bright enough to be Velocity. I like it, but not as much as Cozz’s Chrome red one
Click image to enlarge Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

There’s one near me in that colour, though I’ve only ever seen it sitting on the drive. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

>I set future vehicle values for a living
Leamreject: Why are vehicle colours all so dull and lifeless. I walk down the street and its grey silver grey black grey grey gray grey! YUK!! Where is the fun? I just visited LR dealers in Kendal then Brigton and all their vehicles are - you guessed, grey. Where is sense of adventure as in I spend a load of money on a fabulous new vehicle and this is all they provide? I'm considering a 90 hard top and struggle with the colours. I'm thinking Gondwana Stone with white roof but that's £900 for the white roof. I could just about live with plain Gondwana Stone but on configurator it looks as if the standard roof is almost black (I want to avoid the heat and perhaps wrongly assumed the standard Gondwana roof would be Gondwana - seems I was wrong) yet the green is insipid and dull. The blue is just dull. Then there is a sea of various grays grays and silvers. I really despair. Where is the traditional RED one!!!?? (which I would buy in a heartbeat). So possibly and to save the £1800 I might just choose white - because at least.... it's not another *%! grey car! Am I so far out of the mainstream - I'm thinking Seat and Fiat (500) have wonderful expressive colours and even Citroen have a good range. |

I’ve got more stone chips on mine in 700miles than the car that’s got 6000 on it
Certainly never have black, it scratches if you stare at it long enough Mike |

If you want cool - choose white.
If you want camouflage- choose brown or green If you want days polishing - choose black ...just saying |
