Just wondered what people’s thoughts were,
At the end of the day it’s all subjective.... But why do you make it sound like I shouldn’t have asked? |

You’re right this is personal to you, so many different opinions to suit different pallets.
I set future vehicle values for a living and picking the wrong colour can have a detrimental impact on its future value, that said the market can change at any point and what I mean by that is that 8 to 10 years ago white vehicles would be valued at 10% less than market value. The market changed and white suddenly became desirable. I will be watching with interest to see what responses you get, would be good to see some pics of members current colour combinations Ride like you stole it!! There’s a white one in my area, personally I think white suits it.
For me though it was either blue or green, and blue won it. This is Pangea Green with the 18” alloys Click image to enlarge 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

I live inbetween Solihull and Gaydon so new Defenders being used by JLR Employees are common, this Pangea green is the most popular albeit with silver/grey wheels and white roof
And probably a colour combination I would personally choose with contrasting black alloys and roof Ride like you stole it!! If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do… 2011 2.4 Puma 90 HT |

I went with Carpathian grey, which is a premium colour. I say ‘I’ went with it, actually my wife decided it was worth it. I’m not sure I’ll get my money back in the long run, but it does look nice.

So why didn't you order a white one then and save £895? or are you doing red with black roof (which would look awesome TBH) Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

TBH LR needs to shake up the colour choices - any shade you like so long as it’s greyish....... green with a hint of grey, blue with a hint of grey, silver, Carpathian (black diluted with grey!) Silicone (Green with more grey than Pangea), Gondwana (brown with a hint of grey) and Yulong (white with a hint of grey). I’ve seen photos some very attractive Red and Epsom/Aintree Green as well as a dark British Racing Green. Why nothing like Namib Orange or Ultimate Blue and a few more solid shades of Red and Blue? After all now we have the commercial versions on stream we’ll be seeing a lot of White or wrapped ones because big companies won’t want to pay for fleets of expensive metallic painted commercials that will only get scratched and dented in the line of duty. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! Last edited by Tim in Scotland on 4th Mar 2021 7:16pm. Edited 1 time in total |
