Am thinking of buying an ultrasonic cleaning bath for odds and sods suchs as bolts and nuts etc

I’m pretty sure you can just use any kind of degreaser. Washing up liquid should be fine, what’s the worst that can happen?!!

I tried with washing up liquid, but it didn’t work very well. Plus it full of salt so not the best idea on things that corrode. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

what i saw on you tube was, fill bath with water, place items to be cleaned in a sealed plastic or glass jar with cleaning solution eg petrol,
place jar in water and start the process 1999 90 TD5 CSW 2006 110 TD5 HD Commercial |

Good for cleaning jewelry but anything else the domestic ones are a waste of time.

Had no problem with mine - works well. I use bilthamber Surefex HD and hot water… https://www.bilthamber.com/surfex-hd
