When you say the vcv will sort itself out over time if you don’t do a relearn, what does this mean?

Fitted mine on the drive, a bit tricky with big hands but not so bad, no issues at all with it relearning itself and much smoother from the start so can only get better 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8

I have done 4 of them. 1 i did the relearn the others did it over time. I have also had one duff VCV, in that once fitted vehicle wouldnt start. refitted old one and it started again.
the white smoke could just be glowplugs not 100% and its cold. i have 3 2010 defenders they all smoke on cold starts with cold ambient. (but dont have the irratic idle!) Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |
