I have always refused to have a black car as it’s always dirty unless it’s just been cleaned, I think the exception would be a Defender because they look great and at home dirty. And black looks stunning when clean so great all round....
Looks great in red too  Ride like you stole it!!

Yep the white and black options are good... This pic of the white one is adding fuel to my wife’s view that’s it’s the way to go. |

because if I;d ordered a white one, id have to have all door shuts wrapped, where as with a black one I done;t have too and im keeping black roof and bonnet white is for council wagons |

Colours are erynpersonal. I’m not a fan of black Defenders on those grounds. In the “flesh” I think that black tends to hide the subtle body lines. Also hides the Alpine lights. From childhood experience, when we had a black car, it was always having to be washed. White is great in hot climates reflecting heat whereas black gets unbearably hot. But as Ireland is not renowned for heat In the end for my long awaited p400e it was a toss up between Gondwana and Pangea with the green winning. The one thing I have done is to go for the grey wheels to tone down the appearance a little. With the sunroof and Alpine windows putting a lot of black up top I didn’t think a different coloured roof was worth doing.
Very much personal decisions. Whatever is chosen they are surprisingly good looking vehicles given two-box design and attempts to look a bit utilitarian.  Click image to enlarge |

Would be good to see some “heritage” solid colours, Bronze Green would look great.
