Them are blindos? Though about them but wanted easy clean and these are simple 5 spokes issue now is I can see I need to change the pads soon, also maybe do the disks all round. It never stops 😂 Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

So couple of little tasks competed today
Put some felt/rubber pad on the fuel filter housing as traced a little rattle to that, was chasing that rattle for a while. Refitted a replacement ore front protection plate after mine was damaged in the post. Also cut a 27mm hole in the cubby box drinks holder to hold a usb socket in preparation for when I eventually get a double din radio. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing. 5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details |

Thanks, I have orders some of the +30mm wheel arches to ensure that I don’t get in to trouble here, the tread is inside but the side wall poles out a little.
Also still need to decide on what the actual radio unit will be. To future proof it as much as I can I want CarPlay and DAB, but also want a double din and not the fold out / hovering screens. That’s limiting my choice a little, and I was hoping for some new models with wireless CarPlay but not seen anything new yet. Hi 90 dreamer,
They are et0 18x9 rims, and have a 265/65x18 bfgoodridge tyre on them. The main reason for them was the 117 load rating as in Spain you can not put lower rated tyres on than what’s on the official paperwork (official paperwork has 116) Hope that helps Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing. 5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details |

Click image to enlarge Whilst fitting the wider arches on the front though I would take the time to clear some of the soil/mud/whatever else it is, out of the mud trap behind the front arch. So eventually done the 12v socket in the back, and fitted a double din CarPlay compatible radio, it took a while to get the wires in and i need to remove it again when the rear camera turns up. But at least it’s in. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.
