they do, but the standard plinths are too wide for the panel, so i assume they wouldn't sit straight, but saying that i've never tried, i'll give it a go when i get a second

Nicks - They look amazing where did you get them from and did they require much interms of modification?

I want to get an LED kit but ideally a full set for all lights, like here: http://www.roverantics.com/

Cheers

Is your reversing light led? and if so is the back face of it flush?

From the appearance, I'd say the reverse and fog are still bulbs.

A company on eBay is (was?) doing modified plinths to mount the larger lamps on the standard holes.

the fog and reverse are still normal lamps, not got around to changing them yet. The back of the lamps come with either a plug or just bare wires.

Sorry, I meant that they do the modified plinths for the front Smile

On my 90 I've used the older style (pre-Td5) headlamp finishers, kept the standard plinths (they were all that was available at the time) and modified the body mounting holes and the finishers for the bigger lamps:

I have gone with the clear LED's they come with plugs that fit straight on to the factory loom, and you can get adaptor plinths that mean you dont have to drill new holes in the back body. When Land Rover did the SVX they could not get the indicatiors to work which is why the SVX has led's on the rear except for the indicators which are normal bulbs. People cleverer than Land Rover have now worked it out so you can have all LED's.

Where did you get the LED units that are a direct replacement? im not sure if i like them, but am tempted. I assume it needs a new relay

I will add though that Land Rover could get the LED indicators but didnt for a few reasons, one like everything on the SVX is compromise 2 is servicability apparently (so you can easily go an get the bits) Mike

i can supply the indicators, clear or amber lens' - i prefer the coloured ones. i get them from the manufactuer that supplies us with other led lamp units, so as we buy in bulk we get better discounts. i changed the relay to an electronic one so the indicators flash normally.
