Waitrose deliver or get the nanny to pick up the shopping in the Evoque. Seriously though, I can't imagine that option would be chosen by many potential buyers but why is it not possible to specify? WARNING. This post may contain sarcasm. |

Pickles i doubt you would have any change on one within the region of $200K i suspect .. hopefully i am
misguided and have totally missed LR's intent for the local market with the V8 Look at the price of the RRS Supercharged on the Aussie configurator.. eye watering yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |

here you go, stolen off the book of faces, so not sure how accurate, but you need to add on road and govt charges to the numbers.. assume you would have to sell both kidneys Click image to enlarge yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |

Too expensive for an off road vehicle imo rich mans toy. Best models are the diesels, the D300 has more torque than the V8 but that doesn’t get a mention anywhere.

Possibly also not calibrated, or cabable of being calibrated for drift mode. Drift mode ~ are they serious: "Land Rover engineers brag this is the first Defender you can drift. And I don’t just mean theoretically. Land Rover spent most of the media introduction video going through — in technical detail — exactly how the 2022 Defender V8 can maintain a drift. I won’t attempt to recreate the technical dissertation. But suffice it to say technology enables this V8-powered Defender to drift with ease." https://www.overlandexpo.com/whats-new/202...cs-details Where is a normal punter, even with the money to purchase one of these, going to be able to do that. On the public roads? |

^^^ More to the point, why do LR consider this important for their most capable ‘off-road’ vehicle? Why have they spent money on achieving this? Yet again this highlights the brands desire to move LR away from its roots. If you want to ‘drift’ a V8 from the JLR stable you choose a F-Type. If you want to drive in luxury you choose a XR or FFRR. If you want to off road you choose a Defender. Blending all three is just nonsense. Utter nonsense. Monsieur Le Grenadier
