Yes Camelman we are. Will refit the grill panel this afternoon.

I was impressed with the build quality and it was quite easy to fit. The passenger side needed a bit of loosening off and following the advice of Ed China "loosely assemble and once fitted tighten up"!!

Mrs H is yet to notice.............. Cheers Don.

Me thinks we could have a whole thread on what is on our LR's that others aren't aware of or indeed noticed and a sub thread where parts are noticed but we think there might have been a misunderstanding around costs of said parts......... Whistle 1984 90 V8 puma want to be.

I replaced a 2 years old yet rusty one on mine with one of their OE look stainless bumpers last week. Very nice quality indeed, but their captive nut plates needed some adjustment with the grinder to make them fit into the original spring clip Neutral

You shouldn’t need to use the old spring clip with the captive plate. Scott might have changed the design since you bought your bumper though, Intercept. Charlie

I swapped out all the parts on one of mine other than the number plate and got away with it for a while...

Though things are trickier now my OH is working from home all the time, I just about managed to swap out my front without detection until my Landy obsessed 9 y/o gave the game away.

"Intercept" I replaced a 2 years old yet rusty one on mine with one of their OE look stainless bumpers last week. Very nice quality indeed, but their captive nut plates needed some adjustment with the grinder to make them fit into the original spring clip Neutral "

The bumper came with pre-cut plates to replace the spring clips (I tried the existing ones but the new bottom bracket was too thick for them to fit).

These plates had a little "finger" sticking out to aid with lining them up blind when dropping the bolts down, I wish I had taken a picture of them!

In the end it was much easier than I expected as 'Land Rover build tolerances' could have made it a nightmare. Cheers Don.
