United Kingdom 1999 Defender 110 300 Tdi ST Nato Green
300 Tdi Allisport (or other) Catch Tank Replacements
I've been slowly upgrading and fitting complimentary components to my Wolf, and so far so good -

I've just purchased an Allisport catch tank to replace the plastic centrifugal item fiitted as standard, (My air filter has been replaced with a a high flow Terrfirma version), but I had no issues with the older item anyway, no oil and very little dust in the housing)...

Just wanted some thoughts from anyone else who has done the same including the Expansion tank etc...I'm not looking for bling, I want performance, reliability and longevity - If it looks nice, thats a mere bonus !

Had one on my 90 for years, does the job ok.

Back in 2013 I also fitted the Allisport coolant tank & PAS reservoir but both were gone a couple of years later.

Now back to standard tanks which I prefer.
I think the final straw with the Allisport coolant tank was that I had to move it to allow the Puma bonnet to fit and the plastic tank was better in this regard. With the PAS reservoir it was just a case of "what was wrong with the original one?" so back on it went.
