Alas, the holiday was cancelled due to lockdown, should have been there last week But we'll get there again one day.
I was actually born in Northumbrland, so hopefully I'll be allowed back to visit! Yes I should have said beware that the Cheviot hills are full of bandits and bogarts and Budle bay is rife with impetigo! Visiting Northumberland should come with a government health warning as the views will haunt, and stay with you till the day you die.

Not to mention the malaria, the rabid dogs and southerner tax you have to pay when you're up there. Not worth it if you live past the Humber imo.

Not yet! Last years cancelled Norway holiday is now rebooked instead. But we will visit at some time, especially after PCM very kind offer to meet up and show some trails.. James
