The article refers to it as a heifer, which I think would then make veterinary history if it turned out to be a sperm donor!
It must be said that the photo doesn't immediately look very heifer-ish though. Perhaps it is a good thing that the animals I work with aren't of the bovine variety. Edit: Tim, you edited your post as I was writing mine, which has the effect of making mine look very irrelevant! For the benefit of the puzzled, Tim's post mentioned originally mentioned sperm.  |

And those people are talking out of their arse quite frankly! All this crap about meat production and methane and global warming, people are looking entirely in the wrong place to fix it. Yes we may eventually get rid of ICE cars, but consumption of meat is an entirely natural and human thing to do, no question. Exponential population growth is at the root-cause all of this. ^^^ as is population explosion. I know exactly where the axe needs to fall because THAT is what is driving all the negative things you mention. Also the associated desperate need from the great unwashed to have every last thing as cheap as possible needs to be tackled - in my mind, people should pay a fair price for a fair product, and people should accept that if you can't afford something, you can't have it.

I agree, heated and cooled seats work better than expected on my D5. I was sceptical on the cooling option but on a trip to the south of France ( when we were allowed) they proved to be very good. almost too cold if run too long 
still miss the "nut warmer/cooler flap" on my D4 though Defender D250 HSE Dender 110 XS - sadly gone VW Polo VW Caravelle - Gen 6 |

I agree with most of what you say but I'm confused as who told you not to eat meat? It seems like you are prepared to pay a bit more and obviously appreciate your meat, so presumably you choose decent quality/welfare standards and probably British if not local; which whether you are aware or not is a sustainable and environmentally friendly choice.  WARNING.
