Makes you wonder whether manufacturers easing up on dealers with regard to sales targets during lockdowns has filtered down the chain to floor staff as no bonuses for selling vehicles... and so they have no reason to ring you back?

I had the same problem trying to get in touch with the salesman was a nightmare and even after my order was placed it’s been terrible until very recently when the car arrived at the dealership now they are never off the phone wanting the car out ASAP. Had LR’s in my family all my life grew up with my dad driving RR and Defender hard tops all bought from the same dealership. All I can think of is that JLR have put most of the staff on furlough so they can’t respond by law to customer phone calls or emails. |

I decided to contact another dealer. Similarly, got an auto reply email saying they couldn't respond but would do when they returned. Obviously a lot on furlough but I guess with a trip to a showroom deemed as non essential what can they do.
Anyhow, got a call yesterday from the original dealer. D300 with discount now ordered.  |

You will probably find that the salesman goes totally underground until the vehicles built then they will contact you and disappear again until it arrives in the UK then they will be on the phone every other day lol good luck |
