Only Skoda and Honda wheels, honest. Though have been searching fleabay to see what new Defender alloys are out there. Purely for academic interest.

Yes I've noticed this - loadpace mat is now £145 rather than £144 and the ladder is now £712 rather than £708. Colour and wheel options seem unchanged
From my D3's along with a front towing eye cover I do still have a single D3 18 inch Type 2 Mark 1 wheel with an approx 500 mile old Pirelli Zero on it - whilst the stud pattern might be right on this, the D3 took 255/60R18 tyres as opposed to the New Defenders 255/70R18 tyres so its no actual use to me as a second spare when the new one turns up... I've noticed this too. And I've a feeling a wheel option that was free is now a chargeable option, even though it's only a colour change.
Been deliberating on my spec of a 110 Hardtop for weeks now. Settled on an SE with a few extras. Speaking to dealer tomorrow so having another look through and tbh, there isn't much in the way of extras (that I consider important) over the base or S model so now wondering about going for S spec and adding a few more things. S is £3k cheaper than SE how I've specced. These are with D250. Only sticking point is I really want the D300 but gotta go with the SE to get that engine. Don't want to be disappointed with the power but guess I won't. My D4 had higher torque than the D250, My D5 had higher torque than the D300. Decisions decisions! |

I built a 110S with a P3 and a 110 SE with almost identical specs minus the P4 engine, 10k price difference.

You rarely hear tales of last rites, where the last words uttered were "I wish I had gone for all my cars in a lower specification'
Most wish they had done more and seen more and experienced more. D300, only because there is no D400 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

Shrouds have no pockets is the one I remember.
Although if you work hard early in life frittering away what you have then it may well hasten you into said shroud. |

Ok, reckon I'll go for a D300. I don't need massive persuasion Just need the dealer to return my call now. Email prompt to call me 24 hrs ago and heard nothing. It's only £65k though so not that important! |
