Nice. I expect the offset is because the existing bolts in the door line up exactly with the back frame sides - I'd be tempted to do something similar to the OP's solution with angle brackets to get the centring. Thanks for the photos though! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Thanks to both OP and PaulMark for the info, these fold down tables look like a great addition, and not expensive. I've just ordered one too.

Much as I like the extendable one for the extra space, I notice that it blocks access to the bin in the tailgate door unlike the (cheaper) one described by the OP Steve N | 21MY Defender

OP ~ top effort. That looks very nice and maintaining access to original bins/cubby a definite plus.
Is the cable in the tethers just new or actually a little inflexible? |

Did it, too.
For the door panel replacement bolts 6x30mm is enough. 35mm not necessary. My fold down table came a wee bit narrow, I had to add 5mm spacers. No big deal. Did add them at the inward side so they are not obviously visible. Thanks to G4R1 for this great mod idea. ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() ![]() |

Looks really good - and using existing placements was an absolute gem. When the 110 arrives, I will certainly be investing in this well thought out solution. ![]() |

Right seen enough, I have ordered the requisite bits, I will probably 3d print the spacers when fitting on mine. Steve N | 21MY Defender

I like that I didn't have to alter the door at all and used the same trim mounting locations.
I also made a little shelf for stuff to fit underneath, I've got 2 medium sized dogs that have to go back there. Thanks for the post! ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge |

Last of my bits turned up today - the Bosmutus Tailgate Table itself

I suspect those bits in the box are all the Jeep parts.
