Fold down table.
Just wanted to share with you a little modification I have done earlier today. Very pleased with the outcome.
Total cost £80, installation time 1 hour.

It basically a fold-down table for Jeep Wrangler
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07GWYMKTF/ref=dp_prsubs_1

And a set of brackets
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08HWH...&psc=1

Also, you will need x4 M6 bolts about 30-35mm long.

You also will need to drill x6 6mm holes (4 holes in the table bracket) and 2 holes in the 2 of the 4 angle brackets) 3.0L MHVE D200 S Pangea Green+Black Pack

Neat solution. Any rattles? Is it bolted or riveted through the panel? I can't make out from the photos. If it's bolted, how easy is it to remove the panel? 1981 Series III 88 Santana Especial

That's very neat - looks like it was always intended to be there. Darren

It is bolted using the existing holes/nuts, you don’t have to remove the panel. Just remove 4 bolts, 2 on each side of the panel and replace them with longer bolts (about 35mm long) to fix the angle brackets. 3.0L MHVE D200 S Pangea Green+Black Pack

I notice there are a few variants of these tailgate drop tables for Jeeps on Amazon.

This one caught my eye - no idea whether it fits as well as the one above - seems to be about 48mm longer (before the extender is pulled out) so not sure whether it would still fit on the existing Defender bolt holes as shown above (I think that one 600 wide))

The distance between the existing screws is 660mm, I believe this version will work just fine, obviously will require 4 holes on the back of the table mount or a couple of angle brackets to match existing holes in the tailgate panel.

The version I installed the table itself is 600mm wide including the mounts is 628mm. 3.0L MHVE D200 S Pangea Green+Black Pack

That's a very useful table with the pull out board underneath but I've got to ask - why is it off centre? Darren

That’s just how front runner installed it and it’s never bothered me enough to warrant drilling more holes in the table.
