I keep mine in a plastic bin sack, just wrap it up and that does the job. Easy in, easy out. If it gets tatty replace it. Usually keep it against the bulkhead on mine just next to / behind the seat.

The one thing I would say is be careful with the cap, it would be all to easy to drop it down the fuel filler completely by accident.
I leave the cap on my footwell floor in between putting it in well out the way.

I’m so used to doing it now, it wouldn’t feel right to fill up without it.
I’ve done this process for about 5 years now, it was Mal K9F who used to be on here that started me off on it originally.
Done of you will remember him, he tons me that he used it all the time so I joined the same club. 😁 No Guts, No Glory.
