I have a standard '58 plate 90 with standard shocks, I got the Superpro bushes SPF0075K which are to be used instead of LR part number 552818, took off the front shock, superpro bushes on but there is not enough bolt thread to even engage the lock nut at either end, let alone do it up! Was using the original washers and ensured they are the correct way round. Am I being stupid and there is a special way of getting this done up? Or are my shocks different? Any help please!! 2.4TDCI 90 - everyday brilliance S3 V8 Lightweight - in the garage being ignored #newchassistime S3 lightweight - 2nd car 24V fire risk with a full tilt and the windscreen down S1 80" - first car fun - 75mph in neutral downhill once #wobblesallround |

Jack your axle up so it compresses the damper maybe?

The problem is the threaded bolts aren't long enough, even on the top turret! 2.4TDCI 90 - everyday brilliance
