Went to a Land Rover pub meet at Admaston, Telford last night. Nice evening with 15 Land Rovers turning up.

Just spend a happy hour cleaning out the contents of the 15kg bags of TopSpec TopChop Lite [for the initiated that's alfalfa and high quality chopped oat straw with added real mint to improve palatability horse grub] which burst open while it was on the back seat yesterday afternoon. Dusty chaff type stuff went everywhere Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

nothing. I've been a Defender widdower all week since the missus got the notion that its hers. She did go to the local farmers co op store for an electric fence battery and had to beat her way through an admiring crowd of men who were saying 'what a wagon' - (the car that is not the mrs)

Shame looks so much better in real life than my poor picture Rust prevention treatment for the rest will start early in the morning  Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

This week the Defender has done me proud! I got a new (double seal) vacuum pump through the post.... Took me no more than 15-20 mins to change and only needed a 10mm deep socket!
It made me look really good when going down a dirt track which came to a dead end.... 2 options... reverse back 1Km, or turn right up a 45 degree rocky slope to a more substantive dirt track.... I was unsure if she could make it but to my (and my passengers) surprise she just went up it and barely spun a wheel. I think it did scare the cr@p out of a guy walking down the track when he saw a Land Rover coming over the banking! Hopefully I will treat her to a nice clean today- She had no attention last night due to alcohol!
I have just had breakfast but even that has me hungry again!! Glyn |

Noogles
they look like EQUIPE sold by Peter from Nak (site sponsor), on his web site they are less than you can get them in the UK from LRS but postage may push that up, there are some whom suspect COR4 will do a version as COR4 and Equipe are a partnership split DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS, I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |
