SmartBar’s Under Vehicle Armour (UVA)
I have wondered why nobody in the 4x4 world has looked to the HDPE armour so common in the quad and SxS world. It looks like ARB have now done that:

Not sure what the polymer they are using is though.

Would be ideal for the lower surfaces of Defender wishbones and add virtually no weight.

Cannot imagine it being strong enough for off roading. Will be a great moisture trap with 200lb of mud on top of it.

May suit some, but not for me. 80" 1948

It seems it's good enough for various types of off roaders from Dakar entrants down:

"I’m going to give this HDPE product a go from Axp Racing on my 300 Husky. Seen it on a few bikes now and decided to join the party. Heard lots of good things about High Density Polyethylene as an alternative to Alumimium so am trying it for myself."
