Your first photo looks just great, I like the small rim-big tyre look...purposeful and less 'drug-dealer' .

They don't look like Compos... They might be two different angles of the same Rays wheels. I corresponded with Compomotive, they didn't sound too optimistic about a future bolt-on 18" wheel to fit over the calipers of my P400 Defender, unfortunately.

In my RRSport days Compomotive made an 18” wheel that cleared the Brembo calipers but they wanted a ludicrous price for them as they had made most of them for Bowler’s Nevis RRS-a-like. They must have got fed up with stick sitting in the shelf because not long after I changed my 3.6TDV8 RRS for a 3.6 TDV8 that didn’t have Brembos and they started to sell the 18’s at a more reasonable price! I had their PD1880 (later PD1881) wheels on my LR4 since 2013, great looking and super strong wheels. I am so sad they don't clear the calipers of my model Defender without serious modifications, I would have refinished and kept them forever otherwise. Instead I sold them to another LR4 owners, who still gave me $1000 despite them being pretty scratched up after 7+ years of off-roading. They held their value way better than the car they were on! He powder coated them again and they look brand new.

Anyone got any updates on fitting 18” wheels on P400 models with the big brakes?
Lots were trying but seems to have gone quiet... Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

so far it seems the only way is to do some fettling or replacing the rear calipers with D5 calipers as per lucky8's example with
Tuff Ant wheels, not something I am keen to attempt from both an insurance and govt regs perspective in Oz.. yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |

@SVR do you have pictures of the Rays 18" wheels on the rear? Do you know if they needed to modify the calipers?

I got measured for those 18" Rays wheels by the US importer here in SoCal (style is TE37 Saga), for my P400 110. Rear caliper fins need to be ground down about 1/2" to fit in their estimation. The front ones fit with no modifications. Beautiful wheels, the price gave me a nosebleed, though. 2020 NAS Defender 110 HSE 5-seater / Silver / Khaki / Black Pack / Black Roof / Satin Film / Cold Pack / Off-Road Pack / Advanced OR Pack / Comfort + Convenience Pack / Sirius + HD radio / HUD / Meridian Surround

In Aus they are $995 a corner, before you put any rubber on them that is 5 grand, or 6 if you decide to have an additional spare for touring, then approx $2.4K for the tyres, i think i will stick to the 19" s, i cannot see the CFO sanctioning that kind of spend yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |

Good info @zilch! I can finally put to rest any hopes of 18"s without modifications. If TE37s don't fit nothing will...
