Hello G4UJS
To spare any ...I trust you haven't run out of fuel If after checking all obvious connections you think it maybe the Lucus 10AS Alarm describe the symptoms to Paul Brown... https://www.technozen-electronics.co.uk/ Good Luck SKIP https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |

I don't think it is fuel....the fuel light isn't on and its showing about quarter of a tank.
Its in the middle of my field at the moment so will look again in daylight. Not sure where I should be looking tho! Rob |

In the daylight, go back to basics - has mud and stones dislodged a fuel line at the filter? Has it been so deep that something has dried and fell off onto the TDC sensor on the back of the bell housing? Are the under seat relays secure?
Good luck! |

As it is de-immobilising and will crank, unlikely to be the 10AS.
Try the removing the instrument pack (Torx T30 needed I think) and bridging pins 3 and 4 of the plug with a paperclip or similar: https://www.defender2.net/forum/post814212.html 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

Hi G4UJS
General order of approach...(taken when installing the XDefend) Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Instrument Pack is still plugged in above (Plug from memory is a 'rolling lock' in position so don't just pull it take a good look at 'release' mechanism) SKIP https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |

Possibly, if the instrument pack isn't seeing the incoming immobiliser signal. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
