At the risk of being slightly off topic, that’s this for?

I think that’s where they were trying to fit the Deployable ladder and made a mistake seeing if you could also fit the lunch box on the near side looking for the 3rd mounting position for the bolts into the trim below the window
One thing about his ideas with the wheel nuts and the stub cover - if you don’t use the OEM system I wonder what your insurer might think if you lost a wheel while driving........... would it be considered as a modification? Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

A proper ladder that's a lot less shonky than the one from JLR, a more generic frame that will allow a more useful range of products to be hung there, removable pannier... Last edited by Supacat on 14th Nov 2020 5:27pm. Edited 1 time in total |

The Black steels don’t do it for me personally.

Can the Defender X have 18' wheels from factory? It seems they do not have it as an option and probably due to brakepads?

Watch the video by Doug Demuro, I'm sure only 20" is the smallest option due to the callipers.

Not on Defender X. The P400 powered Defenders have bigger brake callipers. |

19” is the smallest on P400/D300 they both have 4 piston callipers, 18” is the smallest on P300/D200/D250 they all come with twin piston callipers, 20” is the smallest on P400e comes with 6 piston callipers. Doesn’t matter if if is an X or not it all depends on the engine model. Also any Defender that is specified with 22” on the build will automatically get 6 piston callipers and that means smallest wheel you could change to is a 20”. |

Thanks a lot guys! Seems that I need to choose maybe P300 to have the 18' wheels for larger profile for off-road tyres.
