So folks are holding back on buying a D240 First Edition waiting for the D250 to arrive and LR has a load of unsold D240’s they want to shift? They might have to be more generous with the interest rate/price. It’s also a 5 year PCP so loads of interest they can reap profit on. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Yeah I think I would yearn for the 90 if I saw one on the road.

That 110 was ordered as stock by my salesman, he still believes in having entry level products at a more affordable price point rather than ordering top spec with all the toys.

England 2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 CSW Zermatt Silver
Hi all

Strangely enough I was contact by a LR Dealership who offered me a much improved price (on their previous offer) on a First Edition 240 that they have been running as a demonstrator.

They knocked £1500 off the price they offered it to me last week stating that it was “ A Black Friday offer Sir”

I must admit that I am tempted but with the 3.0L engine for the Defender and the Ineos Grenadier both arriving next year I may hang on for a few months.

They aren’t trying very hard! My local MG dealers are offering £9000 off as well as the Government pay back for an EV and Zero% on an APR to shift their stock of unregistered MGZS EV’s with every option fitted, takes the price of one of the better rated EVs to ultra low price getting close to £16k for a car normally costing close to £30k as a Black Friday deal from yesterday through to 11th December! OK so it doesn’t compete with a Defender but just think how many LR would shift if they tried a bit harder! Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

Come to think of I’ve had numerous missed calls from my dealer, it can’t be my salesman as he would leave a message plus calls from his mobile, so I’m assuming it’s them phone about Black Friday offers.

I’ve no idea what that means. But it sounds expensive and restrictive.

I think they can do better. I managed to get £3550 of the list price + fixed side steps (£4500 in total) back in September, for D250 MY21 with delivery in December.

Is that for “with finance” deal or straight purchase?
