Proud Rhino 1.0" Lift, OEM Raised Air Intake, Cross Bar
So I had an issue with three of the five BFG tires that I purchased previously.  Simply put, they were out of spec so much so that you could feel the misshapen tires at low speeds as well as high speed.  Swapped to the same size 275/55/20 Nitto Ridge Grappler (E Load Range part number 217330) that are 32.13" tall.

I also tossed on the OEM Raised Air Intake (snorkel) and the OEM cross bars along with the Proud Rhino 1.0" lift from Lucky8.

Here's the results:

Looking good! I think a 1 inch lift or so looks perfect! Cheers, David

Out of interest, how did you know that the BFG's were out of spec, other than feeling that the drive feel was off?? MY21 110 D300SE DEFENDER

Wow that thing must have no flex at all on the 'off road height'. Shocked Guess it'll just bounce it's way over the terrain Laughing

Several failed attempts of road force balancing I am afraid.

That's no good, I've always liked the BFG's and was thinking I would use them when mine finally arrives. Interesting to hear. MY21 110 D300SE DEFENDER

BFG has been a great tire for so long, I too was taken back. The Nitto tires are smooth as glass though.

Thank you very much. These were just quickies while at lunch. I'll snag some proper ones out on the trail this weekend.
