My nano1 just has the serial port.. I use a serial to USB adaptor. install the driver on my laptop and it works a treat. You need to setup which port it's in still though.

There is a technical problem. Tried everything even a old laptop with a serial port, different cables etc. No comm at all on the serial port.
But this is off topic. Very Happy Roel

I've installed one of these in my td5, very pleased with it. Made my own housing to fit in place of the ashtray as I have access to a 3d printer. Here's the result:

That's looks fantastic! Thumbs Up

I see you got the small LCD version, can you see the readouts clearly from your normal driving position?

I'm dithering between the LCD sizes, as I'm mainly after the engine RPM readout.

No problems reading the data on the lcd from a normal driving position. I went for the small lcd option as I wanted to keep it sort of 'minimalistic'. Contrary to some of the dashes with a gazillion gauges that obstruct your view Razz . 04' 110 TD5 Double Cab

For all UK drivers..... I bought one of these and it works great but it uses km/h and litres /hour etc for fuel consumption.

I emailed the developers and requested a firmware update for MPG and MPH and just got a reply to say it will be available with the next firmware update! Cracking service from the boys at Binowl Thumbs Up TD5 hardtop to Puma inspired Poptop - my build thread

Interested in the Drivers Wish feature. Do you get one per journey or is it on demand. Is it limited to the vehicle (better MPG, more speed...) or can I wish for the road to clear in front of me or the BMW behind me's engine to throw a piston... Rolling Eyes

Rolling with laughter

I can't work out what that is either - maybe a way to save a preset or something? TD5 hardtop to Puma inspired Poptop - my build thread
