TD5 Dash Problems
Hello hello πŸ‘‹πŸ½

The current (silver) dash plate in my 110 has been drilled and modified for a plate to covert
to hold a radio and CB!

I bought a black one off eBay to swap with it because I wanted it back to standard, but the switches from the silver one don’t fit! I’m presuming because the switches in XS are different to a standard TD5?

If I buy switches for the standard black dash plate will they plug straight in or will I find the XS plugs different?

Is it easier to buy another silver XS dash plate and if so does anywhere know I could get one from or any alternative solution?

That's odd, I really would be surprised if LR made different types of switches for that later td5 dash irrelevant of finish colour. Maybe that black one has been cut about or something? Confused

Sorry that doesn't help your predicament!

Switches are the same. Looks like the black one is missing the mounting frame for the switches:

You might be able to remove it from your silver one.

Mounting frame is missing from the black one, 4 (or 5 I can't remember) screws to swap it over.

You'll want to paint the insert black as well or you'll see the silver behind Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
