So that is roughly the same price as a base csw but VAT of £7k is reclaimable (for some, incl me) making the net cost price say £32.5k after possible NFU discount Question

Am I losing it, or is that tempting (thoughtful scratching head emoji needed please Martin) Razz

Is the new 90 n1 or m1 tax? Does this affect the reclamation of vat?

Just working out if its N1 / commercial then its only allowed to do 50 on single and 60 on dual carriageways due to its weight being well over the dual-purpose vehicle threshold of 2040kg.

This looks better than the 110 counter part, but i can the 110 been more favourable for space from what i have seen. I recon this one will end up been a city runner about. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

I can't deny the interior looks like a very nice place to be.
If I was in the market for a swb/3-door modern Disco (which I might be one day), this would be high on the list (once the reliability issues have been addressed).

Has anyone had a look to see how easy it is to take out the rear seats in the 90? For me they’d just be a pain and prevent using the load area for stuff. Confused Confused

That is an option but the biggest problem with that is I live 100 miles N of Perth (UK version) and 85%ish of that is speed averaging cameras. Plus I’d have to be sure I could take out the bulkhead and the window blanks.

PS And was wondering if I could remove the passenger seat, need somewhere to put the Engel. I could fix it to the back floor but that would mean I couldn’t use the underfloor storage.

Bit bland imo...should of had some vents on the hood and maybe changed the side vents just to differentiate it from the rest of the pack. Also a new set of exclusive wheels would of been nice 20’s.

I did read somewhere though that they are putting a front electronic active differential on it.

assume as this is just a prototype test mule.. the actual production version may come with additional
bling to make it stand out in the crowd, or will they go for the stealth look instead Question yet another pommie bar steward down under

Black in general is a bit bland but it may be available with the rather expensive SVO colour palette.

black normally suits most Land Rovers but for the Defender it doesn't do it for me. Just had a loaner for two weeks got it brand new all shiny with 9 miles on the clock didn't look right, handed it back absolutely trashed with mud inside and out still didn't look right. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE
