Is it orange instead of yellow, maybe? Could be C2004/C2005 connecting the rear doors (blue/purple door switches, others central locking motors).

Thanks for the reply, does that mean one of them could be live when ignition is on to allow a feed to a switch and then a relay to power a work light?

Nope - none of those is an ignition feed.
If you have a 90 it's unused, it's the connector for the second row doors - central locking motors and door switches. ![]() ![]() |

Sadly the purple wire is not present on mine as it’s 2014 and they apparently stopped putting it in 2013 , I am sure there must be something under the seat that is switched after ignition if not I’ll have to take one off of a wire behind the dash as I’ve got to fit a switch there anyway but thanks for your help all of you. I only wanted a work light that switches on at the dash via a relay under seat but it’s proving to be a right ball ache to do it properly

If it’s unused does that mean it’s not connected either end or could I fit a relay in the appropriate place and instead of powering windows power a light ? Probably grabbing at straws but electrics in defenders never seem logical or it’s possibly just me |

It's unused as you don't have the second row of doors. It's connected to the alarm ECU at the other ends of the wires
