Assuming you are meaning space heater as opposed to pre heater? Fitted my eberspacher in the rear with the dip pipe diesel feed in half a day.
Very good they are too. Nice and toasty. Easy to do so give it a go yourself. |

any truck/lorry camper van place will fit them and correctly in 1-2 days depending on location inside a defender.
we spent a day on mine as i wanted to run the exhaust pipe to the rear via a silencer. buy the basic model and if you want to upgrade to better controller and remote \ app control you can do at a later date. 2kw is plenty for a 90/110 as well. they dont use much fuel and are fairly good on battery use as well |

My coolant preheated, thermo top c, is also i under the engine close to bulkhead on passenger side. My air heater is under the 2nd row seats.
I dropped fuel tank and fitted two pickups, routed each line along chassis to heater location with in line pumps. That took me a morning, 8 to 1300. 5hrs Next day 0800 to 1600 thermo top fitted under wing and plumbed in. 8hrs Then approx 2hrs to then connect up wiring and fit control box to dash. So 15hrs for thermo top. Bit less for air heater as no coolant hoses to sort. Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

Thanks for your replies.
Apologies, I should have mentioned it’s the air heater being mounted inside the cabin. It sounds like, if I add in time to remove the dash and fit the digital controller, it’s not getting as ridiculous as I first wondered, albeit it’s at the top end of what the time requirement may be. |

Took me about 3 hrs to fit my Airtop (well chinese equivalent) in the 130. I have a seperate tank however so I can run it on red diesel.
