Almost the entire time I’ve owned this the heater has been a little tricky. The valve won’t return to cold without a little help by hand under the bonnet. Today I found a spring and fitted it and bingo job jobbed. I now no longer need to open the bonnet to get it to blow totally cold.

Oil done again at 92000. Bought 20l from a local supplier at £73 inc vat. Add anoth litre and that’s three changes. Good value in my eyes.

Just returned from 1700 mile round trip through France. No issues even though the temp on the way down was 37 and 36 on the way back yesterday. Got out and about locally and found some good lanes and tracks through the nearby communal forest.
Ended up outside on the ferry. Click image to enlarge In its Usual shaded parking spot Click image to enlarge I think the glacial boulder May last a little longer than me or the truck Click image to enlarge |

Finally got round to sorting the screen surround. Lifted the rubber back with some electrical cable I started and bare metalled etc primed, high build primed couloir coat and lacquer all from cans. Over the moon with the result.

Mot’d it this week. It was due November following a covid extension. Being a teacher working in social care I have worked as normal so half term fits well for mots and repairs next year. Truck passed with advisories for os rear wheel bearing play and ns front wheel bearing play. Inspector showed me as he did it. It was negligible and when the weather allows I’ll take a look.
As an aside the team I work with have all worked throughout this covid shambles and none have missed a day through covid or track and trace or other illness. Teaching kids who are cared for by local authorities. The teaching assistants are absolute legends. It’s not frontline but certainly makes us key workers and I’m proud of the efforts and commitment the team have shown. |

No spacers and possibly zero offset. I’ve got to take them off to do the wheel bearings so I’ll check the codes on them then Andy post on here
