Cayman Collection
Last year my son in law asked me to look at an ex-MOD 110 that he fancied. Living in the Caribbean it was a bit of a trail to North Yorkshire to view it himself. Laughing

Here it is at the dealers...

He ended up buying it and exporting it out to Grand Cayman.

He’s now having a bit of work done at the only Land Rover specialist on the island to smarten it up. He sent me some photos today so I thought I’d share them. Here it is in the workshop...

I thought it was funny to see the green 90 jacked up but still has the surf board on the roof rack Defender D250 HSE

Cayman is a tax haven and has a significant number of people with boat loads of dosh (and boats tbh) but very little taste. Ideal Kahn demographic! Thumbs Up

It’s actually a paddle board not a surf board but whatever it made me chuckle too. But that’s just so typical of a Caribbean island. Island life is so different when it’s on a much smaller scale. GC is over a thousand times smaller than the UK by surface area. You see quaint stuff like that all the time in all walks of life. It’s really quite charming - as are the indigenous population there.

Bit more progress. New bonnet and lights. It came with the wing top chequerplate which has now been repainted and reinstalled. New tyres to go on and interior smartened up.
