Thanks gents for all those great suggestions!
Those brackets seem like a good solution! Should keep the hose away from both bolt and wheel arch. I think there's plenty of room to fit it to my LHD. I found more on those brackets here https://www.defender2.net/forum/post344810.html However, I don't see where that second bracket LR057448 is fitted to on the 3rd picture. For now I'll cut the end off the screw and I'll see where I can find an old bike tyre edit: bolt cut off, filed down and screwed back in; got no rubber yet, so I used some aluminium tape for now Click image to enlarge |

That's neat. So you didn't fit that second bracket? I still don't see where it's supposed to be fitted.

I did see it on the parts diagram, but I didn’t understand what it did, so just went with this. If anyone this it’s useful, let me know. I might take out the lower air box mount as it is quite close to the hose still and I’m going to fit a Nugget Stuff airbox anyway. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Hi chaps, the second bracket is secured by the middle bolt of the air filter support. It hold the straight portion leading to the intercooler. Mine is still in the post from the UK - I’ll post up pics as soon as it’s here.
