That was very polite....... Whistle

I think a second design flaw is/are the door panels inside the 90.. ( very cheap to use the same as the 110)
So what went wrong Gerry ?

Why would they completely redesign the door card?

I wonder why the 90 gets a red reflector on the door when the 110 does without? Maybe it’s a market specific thing but there’s no reflectors on any of the doors on my car. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

It’s a larger door maybe?

Is this the Blacksmith's car? It's left hand drive ~ so maybe built to US spec and they love their reflectors.

Sorry Markb110, I suggested this on our forum on 23rd August, so all royalties to me i'm afraid. LOL.

I did write to Brendan with the suggestion also, but I guess he wasn't interested.

I get what you mean now, it does seem a bit cheap not to extend the door card.

Very cheapskate as they’ve gone to the expense of a longer door for the 90 by the look of it Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

You could look at it another way, a commonality of parts approach to keep costs reasonable? 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali
2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu

Parts sharing will keep prices lower.

It would be hidden with the seat back in normal rather than sun lounger position! I’ve just been out and checked mine and it’s not got that extended bit so the 90’s door must be longer to allow easier access to the rear seats.
LR got bitten badly with the Evoque Coupe that even with the front seats right forward had quite difficult access to the rear, I cannot remember if the coupe had longer front doors than the t door but the gap between the B pillar and the seat runner mounts at floor level was very tight in that car. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

That's exactly what I thought.
They should have extended it.
So now only the armrest is stretched and a bit down.

This detail was hidden a long time...

What's the issue?

When the door is closed, you still see most of that metal. There's a picture of it closed on another thread.
