WTF is it with people having bits of old tatty old rope permanently wrapped around their Series or Defender front bumper? Steve.

I see this a lot too. Also at the back driving around town. WTF? I get the feeling they think it makes them look like real men - rufty tufty 4x4 drivers who are macho and get in the mud. Who knows? I have my own grump at the moment - w@nkers who drive too close. In the past week there have been countless people in cars, vans and bikes driving so close that one blip of the brake pedal they'd be into the back. It's especially galling in the rain, wtf do they do it? |

and I noticed on our trip to London yesterday that when you get to a steep incline on a motorway the arseholes behind you assume you are going to snail up it in a Defender and start trying to get past. Then you floor it in 6th and off you go so they give up. It was quite fun to observe ! Obviously the quicker motors are already in the fast lane so its just the 1.6L lot who think they're being smart

Not only the fools who drive too close but fools who drive close and constantly pulled out to the right so they are on on the centre line to see past you.
Idiots who do stick to 40 - 45 on A roads but still stick to 40 - 45 in a max 30 area. Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. yes MOG that was my point exactly ! Glad I'm not the only one. Happens when pulling off from traffic lights as well but once you're in 2nd they give up and fall back into line usually. Anything to get a 10 ft advantage to the next set of lights eh ! Hope I didn't drive like that when I had a 'normal' car |

The dirty animal sector of the human race who do not know how to use public facilities properly.
Stopped at what appeared to be a very new service station on the M40 for a comfort break and a coffee. First cubicle I looked in had brown stuff smeared over the seat! Used another clean cubicle then went to wash my hands. Rubbish dumped in wash hand basin. Nearest bin about 2 metres away! Then there was the idiot coach driver who insisted on smoking in the outside seating area despite the no smoking signs which were pointed out to him. Walked back to the 110 and past rubbish bins at 10-15 metre intervals. Peiple are too lazy to use them and throw their rubbish in the gutter/hedge bottoms. A certain sector of the UK population are dirty lazy inconsiderate animals. Brendan |

I never get idiots like that when driving the 110, but when I'm driving our other cars it is like a red flag to a bull. I think it is the old, "I'm faster than you and no matter how dangerous it is I'm going to prove it to you syndrome" , that unfortunately seems to affect some members of the biking fraternity. |

Yep, totally agree. The ex biker in our village on his Kawasaki xyz was invincible, 30 mph speed limits had 100 added for him, overtaking with a 40 ton artric coming the other way and missing it by inches - no problem. The Ford Focus he impailed himself on was a different issue, almost a year to the day since he was buried. Not against bikers, just the minority idiots. I used to race Greeves scramblers, nothing like the small to Castrol R in the morning, and had numerous road bikes. SWHMBO will not let me have another road bike even though I keep showing her my life insurance And as for the guy with the bike and sidecar on the A31 yesterday with his camping gear and Gromit soft toy in the sidecar with the Asda 40 tonner that kept trying to push him up hills - did not phase him at all - well into his seventies at a guess and not a care in the world Bob |

Hate these 'Think Bike' posters, they ought to have one aimed at bikers that just says 'Think'.
