Latest update from the bodyshop!
Just the floor plates to repaint and refit roll cage and the usual minor bits then she's done! I will then start the IVA process if its not already sold by then as I do have 2 buyers chomping at the bit to buy it. She's going to have the XS seats out of my own 110 XS USW and Ill retrim the original grey vinyl seats into full leather premium seats once the white one is sold so my own 110 can have some new seats after 194,000 miles!!!

Went to see it yesterday
she's looking good! Bodyshop is doing the last few bits and wetsanding, inside floor plates have been sprayed white, its pretty much done now apart from refitting roll cage,spare wheel carrier and wheel, installing all new interior carpets and new XS seats plus a final road test to check everything works fine then she's ready to live a new life with its new owner whoever that might be! So she's finally left the bodyshop looking all nice and shiny!
Going to mechanic to have new interior carpets and XS seat covers plus spare wheel carrier and wheel fitted then she's basically done.

Progress is slow! but getting there!
Currently doing all the little niggly time consuming stuff that the bodyshop didn't bother doing properly, grrr annoying, like bonnet on hinges with no bushes, Bonnet prop missing, etc. New carpets are in( with the help of my mother dearest!!!) and the seats are all out to take to the local retrimmer to be retrimmed in new take off XS trim. The dashboard clocks are with alive tuning to have the KPH clocks mileage transferred to the MPH clocks as some needles don't work on the original KPH Dash so just replaced with new clocks. Im hoping it'll be ready for sale in 2-3 weeks for around a ball park figure of £23,000 with its Seirra Leone log book. Had my first real drive in her since I bought it 14 months ago
drove it 30 miles and drove lovely!
All seats have been retrimmed and most of the niggly stuff have been sorted, Its now Gone to garage as 2 oil leaks appeared probably from dry seals from lack of use so they are being sorted along with front doors needing adjustment. Then its off for a new heated windscreen and probably get the chassis coated in buzzweld or similar. I think that'll be about it apart from adding LED headlights and maybe a bowler front bumper to make it stand out a bit DVLA form has been posted to the DVLA to get its UK 60 reg plate then I can advertise it on eBay. Still pretty much the same
went to garage and had a £900 bill to sort the oil leaks and minor bits n bobs. Took it for its first extensive test drive of 100 miles odd since buying and its sprung a leak in the same place so ive taken it back to the garage and told em to fix it properly!

Still waiting on its UK V5 from DVLA, 12 weeks so far now
DVLA returned form 2 weeks ago as I was £5.50 short on the tax so I've sent that back next day! So thats probably added to the delay! Its booked into my local specialists for sept 7th for the oil leak to be sorted and also a new windscreen and look at the air con as its blowing warm. Meanwhile its sat on my parents drive and I tinker on it when I can but thats infrequent due to 3 young kids, a 50/60hr a week job and a house purchase! I did manage a couple hours on it today detailing the engine bay, the bulkhead was brown with Iron ore staining but its now coming up a nice Chawton white after some elbow grease with a stiff brush! So its being collected from the garage after £1700 worth of work but all niggles sorted now! New windscreen, injector copper washers, stub axle, brakes, new dash lights, new heater controls, all axle and transfer box fluids changed, all filters, oil leak from front of engine fixed. etc etc.
And finally first pics of its UK plates fitted! Just need to fit LED headlights and some tasty bits now! Then up for sale to recoup my investment and on to the next project!
