That looks very smart. Would it have an effect on getting air to the rad/fan/condenser? Monsieur Le Grenadier

Fitting a sticky out front grille is easy and other than the grille surround all you need is two small brackets and a few clips and screws/bolts. There’s a couple of pics in my build thread below if you want a look as I’ve just fitted factory air con. Ray My build thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic17615.html |

That looks great. Also, as I zoom in the picture quality is amazing. What did you use? |

Love the grille and headlamp surround colours. What colour are they? Looks superb on silver, just pondering if it'd also look good colour balance on black.... |

Matt110, saw your USW on the ‘Show me your 110’ thread. Very nice. Think these anthracite surrounds and grille would look great on black. But you better save up, because next you’ll be wanting anthracite Bowlers to match... Monsieur Le Grenadier

Thanks Grenadier. Might do it its own thread at some point. It needs a new grille surround panel and grille at some point due to making some changes to the bumper position to get more air con condenser fans in behind the 8274, and thus now having gaps... Which irritates me lol.
Was just considering painting in solid anthracite myself might be vastly cheaper than having Santorini sprayed elsewhere and also look good. |

In the last three or four I think. Someone asked the same question a week or so ago and I posted links to the brackets needed if you do a quick search it should be easy to find. Ray

If there is a way I'd be happy to swap my "flush" grill for a "sticky out one" with someone

Not without re-engineering the A/C system. There are aftermarket kits that allow for a flush grill but they're quite different from the standard LR set-up. Darren
